For MAC:

NLD only currently supports PC with no current plans to work on a Mac
version due to requirements such as Microsoft Dot Net Framework what
isn't supported on Mac.

The current version of NLD may not work
correctly running parallels or windows virtual machine on a MAC and we
always recommend using a Windows 10 PC.

That being said, NLD
allows you to perform firmware flash's for free without a license, so try either use MAC Parallels: https://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/ or Bootcamp: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468, install NLD and see if it
works.
